Listening comprehension deals with SYNONYM understanding.

What makes it difficult?
A. Answers come directly after one another. (No time to take notes.)
B. When you hear the answer write it down. You must answer immediately.(No time to stop or come back, it constantly moving forward.)
C. Spelling must be perfect (if one letter wrong, answer is wrong)
D. Follow directions (if the say no more than two words, you cannot write more than 2 words.)

Tips.
Before listening, section starts read questions before listening.
While listening is occurring, listen carefully to the instruction.
Write down something even if you haven’t got the answer before moving to the next question.
Make sure you continue to listen while writing as you only hear the tape once.
Don’t stuck on a question, just move on.
There may be sections of irrelevant information. Just keep listening for the info you need.
Write notes in the question booklet as you listen. This may help you go back to a difficult question later.
