speaking cheatsheet

speaking section checks your : Fluency, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary

 Accent is not important (i really mean it).

 

Part1: Interview with the candidate

 

Try your best to demonstrate your best work as first impressions affect your grade. If you provide specific well explained responses, you will appear as band 6 or 7.

 

Part2: 2-minute presentation

            

            Topic card

            Main question

            3-4 sub-question

 

Show fluency up to 2 minutes. Speak uninterrupted. Form mistake free sentences, show a variety of sentences. It will impress graders more than any other area because graders is listening to you.

 

Speak 2 minute uninterrupted by the examiner

 

Part 3: Follow up questions to part 2

            Hard and longer questions, difficult vocabulary

 

Speak each questions try to speak 2 to 3 sentences to answer each question.

 

ANSWER + EXTEND + EXTEND

General response + Specific reason or example in the next sentence or two.
